Tutors International reports busiest month ever as prestigious Dubai schools suffer staffing crisis as a result of property industry collapse
June has been the busiest month since Tutors International was founded. Founder Adam Caller explains how increased demand for full-time private tutors in Dubai is a result of the Dubai property industry collapse.

OXFORD, UK, July 24, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tutors International announces that June has been the busiest month since the company was founded ten years ago. A significant number of enquiries regarding the provision of full-time private tutors have been received from wealthy families in Dubai who are increasingly dissatisfied with education provision in the most prestigious private schools. "We are hearing from a lot of unhappy parents in Dubai," commented Adam Caller, founder of Tutors International. "Many are losing faith in the education provided by the most prestigious schools in the city, and it seems that the drop in standards is being caused by the collapse of the property industry. The two may seem unrelated, but one sustains the other as the private schools have been staffed with the wives of foreign specialists that have been working in the property industry."

The Dubai property industry has not escaped the economic downturn, with property prices over 40% lower in 2009 compared to the same period in 2008. "As a result, the foreign property developers, architects and surveyors are leaving the country and obviously their wives are leaving with them, resulting in what seems to be a staffing crisis in many of the private schools in Dubai," explained Adam. "This leaves the wealthy families in Dubai with few options in terms of schooling, as they are already paying for what used to be the best. Now that the standards are dropping, many are looking for alternatives including full time private tutoring."
