Housing association Guinness Partnership has appointed SCC International to replace the Communal Aerial Systems in their homes in preparation for the digital switchover.


LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND, March 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Housing association Guinness Partnership has appointed SCC International to replace the Communal Aerial Systems in their homes in preparation for the digital switchover.

SCC International will install replacement Integrated Reception Systems (IRS) in Guinness Partnership homes across the country. The analogue communal aerials have already been replaced in Guinness Hermitage, Guinness Midsummer and Guinness Northern Counties.
The digital switchover in the UK is set to be completed by the end of 2012. The UK's old analogue television signal is being switched off and replaced with a digital signal, to create access to a choice of affordable digital TV and Radio services for everyone.

Digital switchover in the London and Meridian TV regions is scheduled for 2012. A phased rollout in the South East is set to begin in early 2010, with areas currently experiencing poor reception having top priority.
