LateRooms.com - Take a Look at Spanish Culture with a Film Screening in Zaragoza
Anyone hoping to gain a better understanding of Spanish culture while on holiday in Zaragoza may want to watch a movie about Cuba and its heritage.

ZARAGOZA, SPAIN, March 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- People who have booked Zaragoza hotels and are looking for a way to pass an evening in the city may be interested to hear about a film screening taking place towards the end of the month.

On March 25th, anyone who wants to see a slice of Spanish culture should head to the Casa de las Culturas (or House of Culture) for a showing of a Spanish film based in Cuba.

Entitled Habanece: Sunrise in Havana , the movie has developed cult status due to the difficulties experienced during shooting.

The Cuban government censored the script, which led the director to film in the city without official permission. As a result, some unusual techniques were used to make the movie which has added to its notoriety.

Habanece is directed by Jorge Nebra, a Zaragoza local, who also starred in the flick as the lead part.

The screening starts at 19:30 (local time) and is free to attend, making it a great way to get under the skin of Spanish culture with locals from the city.

"The Habanece movie night is likely to be popular," said Jess Reading, head of marketing at LateRooms. "LateRooms strongly recommends people considering attending to book hoteles en Zaragoza as soon as possible."
