PleaseFund.Us are running a competition on their site looking for creative projects and are offering GBP1500 worth of grants as prizes, to help people reach their fundraising goal. The grant is open to anyone over 18 with a creative idea.

Crowdfunding has been fantastic at helping thousands of projects get funded through the online community, and now, for a lucky couple of projects, it just got even better. UK based crowdfunding platform PleaseFund.Us are running a competition on their site looking for creative projects and are offering grants as prizes, to help people reach their fundraising goal.

The first place prize is a grant of GBP1000 ($1560 approx) and the second place prize is a grant of GBP500 ($780 approx).

The "PleaseFund.Us Creatives Fund" is to be awarded on the 25th of November to two lucky project owners. The winners will be chosen from all live projects on the site at the time. All applicants need to submit their crowdfunding project to PleaseFund.Us, and get the crowd behind them!

As long as you are over 18 and have a bank account, you and your project are eligible. Both you and your project can be based anywhere in the world.

The PleaseFund.Us judging panel will be looking to award the grant to brilliant projects that meet the criteria. They will take into account the creativity, novelty and brilliance of the idea, as well as how much support they can generate from the crowd via feedback from Facebook and Twitter. They are looking for passionate, dedicated and creative people, who are willing to put in the effort to get their project off the ground. And their efforts will be rewarded with cold, hard cash from the PleaseFund.Us piggy bank!

Once the judging panel has decided on the winner, they will put GBP1,000 through the platform into the winning project's PleaseFund.Us fundraising campaign. GBP500 will be pledged towards the second best project live at the time as well.
