Work at home mum Lindsey Rowe has had a memorable year as she started her own online marketing business and graduated with the equivalent of an honours degree in 2011.

DEVON, ENGLAND, November 02, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- 2011 has been a memorable year and milestone in the life of new online marketing business owner and work at home mum Lindsey Rowe - who not only started her own Internet business but also obtained a Graduateship Award, equivalent to an honours degree - in the same year.

With momentum building in her business, Rowe travelled to London in the UK earlier in 2011 to receive her Graduateship Award in the opulent surroundings of the Merchant Taylor's Hall from the Director-General and CEO of City & Guilds, Chris Jones, in recognition for the management role she'd performed whilst working as a Marketing & Schools' Liaison Officer at East Devon College in the South West of England, prior to being made redundant in late 2010.

Whilst working in the public sector, Rowe's marketing and PR expertise helped to steer a smooth pathway for many months of delicate negotiations between East Devon College and North Devon College, culminating in a successful merger of the two institutions during the autumn of 2008.

"I had to incorporate high levels of management duties when a senior colleague I was working directly under was made redundant in the spring of 2007" said Rowe.
